Glad you enjoyed the Oprah segment on the Running of the Brides --it was taped last August in Boston, where this event began in 1947. The event used to be held in the original Filene&#39;s Basement in downtown Boston, but it became so big, we moved it to a convention center. The great thing about this event is that it evolved organically, if that&#39;s the right word. It was the brides-to-be and their helpers who started to dress in team uniforms, carry signs, clear the racks, change in the aisles, etc. Most of the brides who attend find their dream dress, but even those who don&#39;t report that it was a great experience that they will always remember. I feel the information you have given is the most accurate information I have read online to date.<br /><br />I do disagree with some of what you have posted but mostly agree with the information given.<br /><br />After much research and consideration I feel the work at home craft companies that pay some workers are a scam.<br />It seems to me after talking with many who have spent money attempting to make money with these crafting companies most have failed in making money.
