Our kiddie pool cooler

Guest post written by Rose Griffin

I know that it sounds a little crazy, but I like to come up with duplicate uses for all kinds of things. Especially things that I use for outdoor entertaining. I was busy planning a picnic a few weekends ago for my husband's birthday and was trying to come up with some fun and creative things that I could do that would set this party apart.

As i was looking up for some ideas online I ran across the site internetservicenewyork.com/ and decided to sign up for a new internet service through it. I also found the idea to use a kiddie pool as a cooler for drinks.

Our kids are kind of a little too old to play in their little pool anymore and it's still practically new. So I just used it as a kiddie pool cooler to put the drinks and popsicles in. It really did work like a charm and I'm going to have to do that for our next little get-together like that. I got a lot of compliments on my great idea.

Labeling

I love when we pass certain advertising flags and DD calls out what each place is when she sees them. It's funny to see what she recognizes and what she doesn't. It also tells you how well that company's advertising and branding is doing if a child can pick them out. Sometimes I think that should be a good marketing strategy, hiring children to see what they "know". It would definitely tell them something and if something needed to be changed.

New Phone?

I've been thinking of getting a new phone and I think I want a Blackberry. My friend has the one I was looking at and I really like it. The only thing is that we are both hard on our phones and I'd definitely have to get a case for it. She and I went on a hunt for Blackberry cases one day because she didn't want to get one online. It's funny how she won't use technology for technology sometimes.
