Get Checked

DS came and told me today that he needs a new pair of glasses, he's scratched them up to where it's making it hard for him to see. I wish there were some cheap eyeglasses that were completely scratch-proof...or more like boy-proof. LOL He likes a certain brand because they are slightly more durable but even then he manages to mess them up. At least his eye don't seem to change too often and we can just order the same prescription twice a year, that's really helpful. I'll have to call up the office this week so a new pair can be sent out. Hopefully these last until next year...but I'm not counting on it.

What to Get?

My laptop is finally giving way and I'm not sure what kind I'll be getting next yet. It's a really hard decision because everyone seems to have their own preference when asked. I personally loved my Sony and think I might get another one but I'm sure there is probably something else that can out perform it. I've been reading reviews but that seems to just confuse me more. A bunch of my friends have HPs but I'm not really sure I want one of those either. *sigh* I hope I can make up my mind soon or I'll be sharing with the rest of the house for a while.

Babies!

Two of my friends have had babies in the last week, on the same day! It's amazing how that happens. Both had sent me save the date cards for their welcome baby parties and it's a good thing those didn't end up being the same day too! LOL It's crazy to think my friends are still having kids and then I remember how early I started. The crazy part is that both have kids in middle school already so it really is quite an age gap from first to last. I'm glad they're still going though because I can still indulge my baby wants and not have another of my own. Being the happy aunt can really have its benefits.

Shopping Madness

I've been on a shopping binge the last month, which eventually came to an end because I started to run out of funds. It was really fun to be able to buy things again though. Of course I didn't buy anything that wasn't on sale and most of it was for the kids but at least I didn't have to worry for a moment about anything. DD is now stocked up on most of her clothes as well as her brother. I could still use a few things but they can wait until I find what I like anyway. Now it's time to save so I can get a new TV and finally get rid of the huge thing we have now. I'm sure DS will love having the hand-me-down and I can finally gain some room back. I love shopping!
