At least two years ago, the gas station near my parents' house had an RV for sale sitting in the parking area. It really blows me away that it's still sitting there, considering how people in the residential areas would complain about something like that. I can only assume that during the recession, the people who own it decided they couldn't afford the motor home repairs or something and figured a lot of people would be looking for somewhere cheaper to live, since they were all losing their homes. I think it was a good idea, in theory, but by now I would have assumed that they would have moved it. Added to that, there's a lot less parking space for people who use the station as a convenience mart.
