2011 is My Year!

I've been through a whole lot this year and it's really shown up on my body rather than anywhere else. Of course I still have weight from DD to lose but the stress has really added some extra weight this year. Sometimes I'll sit and look through all of the clothes I won't get rid of but can't fit and wish I could wish away the pounds. LOL! I'm hoping that things eventually calm down so I can refocus and start being able to worry about myself again soon. I miss being able to exercise every morning, especially in combination with the best diet pills...that worked wonders for me before and I was down to size in no time. It's not really a matter of me looking better but the energy level change that I need along with it. I miss being energetic and getting a lot done during the day. Here's to 2011!

A Perfect Gift

I felt really badly when DS's Wii died on him a few months ago. He really loved that thing...so when the red anniversary edition came out I knew that was the perfect gift for him. I can't wait to see his face on his birthday when he opens it. I figured that he probably shouldn't get a Nintendo Wii for Christmas more than once. LOL Actually, I kind of want one too in that color. I always like things that are different so it's really great that all the companies try to put out different colors of everything. Now if only I could afford to by myself at least one of those colored things...LOL!

The Running of the Brides

Have you ever seen this? I never knew it existed until I saw it on Oprah a couple of weeks ago. It's bridezillas at their finest! LOL! Tons of brides go running into this huge space filled with bridal gowns and within seconds they're all pulled from the racks and the brides go through them all trying them on to find that perfect one. Many of them bring their friends or family with them to help get the best variety, the more hands the more gowns you can grab. It's pretty crazy and some don't even find the one for them after it all but it looks like a whole bunch of fun...but I'd imagine that you would have to be really big into shopping.

Up and Down

Something that I didn't think I needed when I started working at home was a printer. I rarely had printed anything and figured that it wouldn't change all that much especially since there is one in the house. Boy was I wrong. Of course I now find myself having to go up and down the stairs constantly to make hard copies and eventually become lazy enough to have started a folder on my computer of things I need to print so I can do it all at once. I think I might try to pick up a lexmark x2550 so I can just keep it up here and not have to worry about relying on someone else's things. It would be a whole lot more convenient to say the least!

Let it be Over Already!

I am definitely feeling the Christmas crunch right now. Even with all of the jobs I do have, it's been madness trying to buy everything I can for everyone and keep up with the bills at the same time. Of course most of the things that the kids want are only found online and shipping time is quickly dwindling away. I really hate having to pay for shipping especially when it's more than I could have spent and it takes away from the amount of available cash I have on hand. I had learned my lesson a while back and try not to charge anything during this time of year knowing it will be one heck of a situation to dig myself out of but this time I may have to in order to get anything on time at all. My kids really pulled a doozy on me "insisting" on being born two weeks after Christmas. LOL!
