Seeing the Light

Lasers and lights have been used a lot in healing especially when it comes to skin. I heard of this blue acne light treatment and it's made me curious since I've done almost everything to clear up my skin. There are two light treatments in this one thing, one to kill the bacteria and the other as a healing agent. The idea sounds really interesting to me but I probably won't be able to try it at least for a while since I'm broke but I would definitely give it a shot if I had the chance.

Filling Up with Fiber

Sometimes I wonder what the deal with the best colon cleanse competition is. I always thought that if you ate a natural diet with lots of fiber that you naturally detox your body. I still think that's true but at the same time I know that there are a lot of people that don't eat as healthily as they should and need a little help when it comes to supplements and stuff. I know I could do with adding more veggies and things into my diet.

Jack of All Trades

Toothpaste has been known to have a host of purposes from glues to homemade acne remedies. I've never tried doing any of them but the idea has always amused me. I've been thinking of ways to re-purpose things around the house lately as part of my eco-friendly money saving trials but haven't done incredibly well with it yet. I think I'm just out of time and energy right now and need to slow down and take things as they come.

What is with You?

I swear I have one of the craziest kids ever. At three she still is putting stuff in her mouth and I totally don't get it at all! It's like she rebels by going backwards or something. The other day I found her with one of my mom's empty anti wrinkle creams and she had tried to get out what she could and ate it. All I could do is ask her what her problem is because she totally knows better! Not only that but the stuff was really perfumed so I can't imagine what made her even want to put that in her mouth. It is possible that she tried to use it like lip gloss or something but still, YUCK!

Broke...Already?!

Yep, I've spent it all, I'm really disappointed in myself. The thing is I know that a ton of it went to food and bills but when I look around and see nothing showing the money I had it gets really disturbing. So now I'm back to square one and having to wait until I finish the room to get back to work. It's extremely frustrating because there's no money coming in until then. I wish I didn't have to spend the money the way I did so we could have had some fun with it but that's the way things go I guess. Ugh.

Stressed

I'm still doing this frustrating redo and it's gotten on my last nerve. I'm about to throw it in and leave it where it is but the last thing I want to do is stare at a halfway done project for the next few years. I'm trying hard not to freak out since it's one of the adult acne causes that effects me the most and the last thing I want is for my insides to show on the outside in that way. I've been plugging away at this for what seems like forever and it's exhausting to say the least. Man, could you imagine if I were doing a remodel?! I'd be out of my mind!

What Phone?

DH lost his phone a while ago and he couldn't decide for the longest time if he wanted to buy an unlocked phone or get what ever the company wanted to give him. I tried to tell him that he needs a new SIM card anyway so we'd have to get what they gave him and could put that into something else but since he didn't get it, it took forever for him to make up his mind. Meanwhile he has taken over my phone and tried to make it his own and it's driving me nuts. Thank goodness I don't use it much or I'd have people calling only to hear some dumb voicemail message wondering what happened. Ugh, he drives me nuts.

Getting Old

My father in law is always talking about how old he is and how he's not sure how much longer he's going to live. It's really depressing having a conversation with him. What's amazed me the most is that he's just now looking for life insurance! I have no idea why he didn't do it sooner because now he has all kinds of health conditions. Anyway, he's asking me to check for life insurance online quotes and to give him the information because he has no idea how to use a computer. I'm happy to help but he does have other children who don't have anything else to do so I wish one of them would help out at least once in a while.

Doing the Redo

Well the redo got underway and it's stayed that way for a while. I haven't been able to get much done very fast and it's really becoming a total drag. I'm sore, my hand and shoulder is killing me and I totally wish I had hired someone to do this for me. It's coming along very slowly but eventually will get done, hopefully. As weird as it seems I can't wait to get back to work and have the space I've always needed to do it in. I'm just about kicking myself for starting this though, it'll be a while before I'm done.
