One thing that I love about home design shows is watching where they put the TV in the bedrooms. Even though TVs have gotten SO incredibly slim, some people don't want that to be the focal point of their room. I've seen some great ideas so far about putting it into a table-like box at the foot of the bed where it can raise up and swivel around but that's not incredibly practical for everyone. The best idea would be to use a flat panel mount which swivels so you can place it just about anywhere and still see it. You could even hide it behind a picture or something during the time where it's not in use. I know I would love to get ours off the dresser it is on to save space and have the room for other things.
