Working on Homes from Home
Some people may not consider having to physically leave their home as working from home but it is one in the same if your work is based there. One thing that's become really big this last year is working on foreclosure homes. The sad part is that people were being hired to go in and clean out the homes that some one else couldn't afford. That's pretty backwards isn't it?
Anyway, there are lots of house related areas that you can get into...electrician, plumbing, inspections, staging...the list goes on. It all depends on what you like or can do. Around where I live there aren't many manufactured homes but in areas that there are you can go into things specific things for those as well even if it is something as small as maintenance whether it be cosmetic or mechanical. Using your imagination is really helpful since there are so many options!
Blogging
So, do you think it's a fad or will blogging become the new way of obtaining information? I know that last bit already exists but it does seem like almost any written news will be located on the internet and no longer exists on paper at some point in time doesn't it?
Every day I read ad after ad of people seeking out bloggers but what kind of writer does it really take? Just because you can properly throw together a few sentences or write in a journal on a regular basis doesn't mean that you are suited to become a public author. I've read so many bad articles online it's not even funny. Sometimes you even wonder if these people speak English as a first language. The hardest ones to read are when they are giving directions in some form of guide and nothing will come out to make any sense at all.
If you believe that you can provide valuable information on a blog, you may have a future ahead of you. There are so many places seeking people to write articles on everything from travel deals and locations, computer information, all the way to fashion trends. Being that blogging is still in it's baby years it may take a while for it to become something professional so some of these people hiring may not even know what it is exactly that they're looking for and the pay can be minimal. If you have an area of expertise and could easily become a consulting guru on it then I would definitely think about putting the bit of change in my pocket.
Dear Diary...
It's funny what you read in blogs, isn't it? I've read everydthing from the daily local news to seeing a woman write about how she fell in her toilet. LOL! I have to admit, I write more diary entries than anything on my blogs except for this one. I had tried to write more themed blogs in the beginning of my venture but I quickly found that I'm not interesting enough to post regularly on one particular subject. This you may be able to tell as I seem to deviate slightly even on this one. In the very near future I'll have my act together and finally be posting some kind of helpful something on here. If there's something you'd like to see, please feel free to let me know. ^_^

Staying Well Balanced
If this sounds like you whether you work at home or outside, be sure to eat a healthy snack instead of some junk that you are most likely to reach for. Bring a cooler type bag and pack yourself some veggie sticks and dip with some fruit if nothing else. That's also a very quick thing to grab in the morning on your way out by pre-packing each day's worth at the beginning of each week.

Hobbies
Hobbies can lead to a wealth of opportunities when it comes to wanting to start your own business. Lots of women have turned to crafts to sell online or at fairs but for men it's not always as easy. There are those typical car buffs out there which is fantastic since they can always gt side jobs working on friends' cars or eventually opening their own shops. I have a friend who's husband did that and they did so well that she was able to open her own business as well. Who would have thought that after some tune-ups, tweaks, and spoilers they'd be on their way to having a great source of income?
If you're lucky enough to have an interest or something that you feel passionately about, think of how you can use it to make some extra money. I'm sure that is welcome for just about everyone and the best part is that not only are you doing something you love, you're working for yourself!
Writers
I've read a lot about the amount of money that some people are making as writers but some how I find that it would be a real challenge to become one myself. The blogs that I have are used as basic journals or just a log of what I've been doing most recently, not anything professional. I'm not sure that my confidence is high enough to actually do it for a living. The funny part is that it is not uncommon to see some one that shouldn't be writing actually doing it. You know, they're the people that can't spell or use any type of grammar in their favor. Nothing you read them saying makes any kind of sense and then they get all mad that they aren't making as much money as the next guy.
If you're a writer, I'm curious what your opinions are and if you care to share which companies are working for you, feel free to do so. :o)
