Balacing Act

I've been doing nothing but working the last few weeks and can hardly even get dressed anymore. The funny part is that I've always emphisized the importance of balancing work and family especially by setting hours. I know this is almost impossible to do with a toddler but I think I way under estimated how bad it really would be. The second I sit down and finally find my train of thought out the window it goes! Of course no one can actually understand this kind of frustration if they've never worked from home. I get flack all the time from other family members that I'm not doing enough. Talk about lack of respect. Those of us that do this feel lucky to have the privilege that so many would like and have to work 10x harder compared to working somewhere else. It's just ridiculous to think that we can make the same amount with the same effort. I can't wait until the holidays are over so I can relax a little again!
